Combining peer-to-peer conversation with wandering the local area, our 'Carshalton Beeches Chapter' unites local men, meeting weekly, on a Wednesday, outside Carshalton Beeches Station, which is convenient and easily accessible, being served by good transport links and unrestricted parking. Typically lasting up-to 2hrs a session, including group refreshment and walking no more than 3 miles, we welcome men from all abilities and ages, walking at a gentle pace.
Combining peer-to-peer conversation with exploring a variety of leisure activities, including archery and riffle shooting in the local woodlands, our 'Croydon Chapter' unites local men, meeting weekly, on a Thursday, at Pinewood Activity Centre, which is convenient and easily accessible, being served by good transport links and unrestricted parking. Typically lasting up-to 2hrs a session, including group refreshment and walking no more than 3 miles, we welcome men from all abilities and ages.
Our 'High Miler Chapter' is another opportunity to get walking, while enjoying conversation with other men, from a mixture of our local groups. While open to all, this is a longer walk than our local sessions, but still enjoying a gentle pace and group refreshment. We typically walk over 5 miles in a session, lasting up-to 3hrs, on a weekend. We typically meet weekly, on a Sunday morning, with the location changing each time, to sample different areas of outstanding beauty and historical value.
The 'Band of Brothers' Fit Club is a great opportunity to get fit and enjoy the outside space, while enjoying conversation with other local men. While open to all, this is a fitness group meeting weekly, typically for a 1hr period, enjoying physical exercise for up-to 3 miles at a time.
We recognise the importance for socialising, as well as physical exercise and task building, which is why we've developed our 'Brothers Over Breakfast' sessions. Typically meeting on a monthly basis, at different local venues, we enjoy a breakfast¹ and chat, offering peer-to-peer support.
¹ - While we are working hard to attract discounts, unfortunately the cost of food and drinks are not covered by the 'Band of Brothers' at this time.
Our 'Building Brothers' workshops provide training and support to individuals, while encouraging conversation. Typically, these sessions last a couple of hours, meeting on a weekly basis, where we enjoy woodwork and carpentry tasks, by building something for the local community to enjoy.
If physical activity isn't your interest, we also host weekly 'Drop-in sessions' in Community Spaces, to allow men the chance to talk within a supportive community, with refreshments and games on offer too.
Join us for something different, getting men talking over gardening, to help increase the feeling of positivity, by working on a project and feeling a sense of satisfaction in taking care of a local treasure, within an area. Out 'Gents Get Gardening' sessions typically meet weekly, for an hour or so.
